Together, Second Harvest and PORCH Communities are working to strengthen local food assistance organizations by connecting them with neighbors who want to make a difference in their communities.

PORCH supports volunteers who organize simple, recurring monthly food collections in their own neighborhoods, with donations going directly to local pantry partners. Through our partnership with Second Harvest, we’re connecting with food assistance organizations across Northwest North Carolina that are interested in receiving consistent community support through the PORCH model.
