PORCH for Schools
Hungry children struggle to focus, get sick more often, and are more likely to face social and behavioral challenges. No child should sit through class distracted by an empty stomach. That’s why PORCH for Schools exists — to make sure kids have access to healthy snacks during the school day so they can learn, grow, and thrive.
And no teacher should have to dip into their own pocket to provide food for their students. PORCH for Schools partners with local businesses and generous neighbors to sponsor snack programs in public schools and after-school centers — putting nutritious food directly into the hands of the children who need it most.

“Thank you, PORCH, for supplying snacks for our students. Some students come to school without eating breakfast and having snacks available in my classroom means they can start their day off on a good foot!"
