Start a PORCH

Be the neighbor who makes a difference.

PORCH Neighborhood Coordinators are the heart of our success! Each month, they mobilize their neighbors to keep local food pantries stocked with the items most needed by the community. With our proven model and ongoing support, you can make an impact in as little as 3 hours a month.

PORCH Makes It Easy

Our model is simple: monthly neighborhood food drives that directly support local food pantries.

Once a month, neighbors place bags of non-perishables on their porches

1

Volunteers collect the donations

2

Donations are brought to a local food pantry to fill their gaps

We give you everything you need to succeed:

Step-by-step guidance with start-up guides and training

An online resource center full of tools and tips

Marketing support to spread the word in your community

A network of volunteers across the country who share your passion

You won’t be doing this alone — you’ll be part of a team dedicated to fighting hunger and making your community stronger.
