PORCH Fearrington is Fearrington Village’s all-volunteer hunger relief organization that connects neighbors to fight local hunger. Through monthly neighborhood food drive, we collect food and cash donations to help keep pantry shelves at CORA FOOD PANTRY, which which provides emergency food to individuals and families in Chatham County, NC, stocked year-round. This helps provide consistent support for individuals and families facing food insecurity in our community.

On April 18, 2024, Roz and Jon attended a meeting at the CORA Food Pantry for the leaders of all the Chatham PORCH communities.  Working with Christine Cotton, Roz Darling founded PORCH Fearrington in 2011 as the first PORCH founded after the original Chapel Hill-Carrboro-Durham original PORCH communities.
