Christine Cotton

Christine is one of the three founders and original directors of PORCH. Through a combination of her professional background in project management, nonprofit development and educational consulting, her many years of volunteerism and community development, and her dedication to serving others, Christine’s goal is to utilize her skills and compassion to keep PORCH Communities growing into an organization that will be relevant in the community for years to come.

Michael Frisch

For the past seven years, Michael has worked as a pro-bono consultant with Executive Service Corps. of the Triangle [a non-profit organization working to improve non-profit organizations’ sustainability in Chatham, Durham, Orange and Wake Counties]. 

He retired as senior vice president of operations at Surgical Care Affiliates in Chicago, IL. Prior to that, he served as the President of the radiology division for Alliance Healthcare Services. He also served as the COO of Alliance Healthcare Services; a leading provider of diagnostic im aging and radiation therapy services. 

Michael earned a B.A. from the University of Illinois and an MBA from DePaul University.

Steve Spokane

In addition to his work with PORCH, Steve volunteers with Executive Service Corps of the Triangle, providing consulting and capacity building services to local nonprofits. Steve also works with the Council for Entrepreneurial Development as a mentor and coach for the CED Venture Mentoring Service (VMS) program in North Carolina.

Prior to retiring, Steve served in a variety of marketing leadership with McKesson Corporation and Change Healthcare.
